Please do not give extra dosage of tablets without consultation/ prescription from your Doctor. Meet your Doctor who had prescribed the medicine for a change of medicines. Ideally, an hypertensive patient should meet his/ her Doctor 6monthly to 1 yearly, to modify the dosage of their tablets . Uncontrolled BP can lead to sudden brain strokes/ischemia. And overdosage can lead to fatal reduction of BP.
Next Steps
Kindly meet your Doctor for change of medications as per requirement by condition of your mother . Take care!
