U need to consult physician
High bp and SOB with gastric issues
Any pedal edema or not and need 2 d echo to rule out heart related issues and x ray or Ct chest to rule out the lung issue
And prescribe medicines according to it after cbp and rft
High BP + breathing difficulty is a medical emergency until proven otherwise.
Even if you feel it is due to gastric/acidity, we must NOT assume that right now.
Possible urgent causes that need to be ruled out:
• Hypertensive crisis
• Heart-related problem
• Severe anxiety/panic mimicking breathlessness
• Severe gastritis/GERD causing chest tightness (this is possible, but only after ruling out the above)
⚠️ Breathing difficulty is NOT something to manage at home when BP is “very high”.
Health Tips
• Gastric problems can mimic chest tightness, but they do not cause dangerously high BP
• Anxiety can worsen both BP and breathing — but diagnosis must be made after examination
• Keep a list of:
• Current BP medicines
• Last BP readings
• Any chest pain, sweating, nausea, left arm pain
I know you are scared — and you are right to seek help.
Please do not delay. It is always better to go to the emergency room and be told “everything is okay” than to wait at home.
Gastric upset and gastritis cause severe heart burn and its ruled out via ecg and cardiac markers.most likely you suffered from gastritis or gerd.please connect asap me on practo for further management and evaluation.
