Young males with no other comorbidities having Iron deficiency is not usual. This cannot be written off as nutritional deficiency unless we evaluate further and find no other cause. Before just taking iron supplements consult and figure out why you have an iron deficiency in the first place

I don't know why you got Ferritin level tested. Once it has been tested, I don't want to ignore this report. You should take oral iron (no injections).
