Normal delivery
I am currently 38 weeks pregnant, from the beginning of pregnancy. I got detected with thyroid and gestational diabetes which are in control after taking medication. At 37 weeks my sgpt, sgot level got increased to around 265 and 142 and it lead to severe itching, doc suggested to take udiliv 300 3times a day and now after a weeks itching has reduced by 60%. Bile acid serum test are also within normal range, baby movements is also 12-15 in a day. Should I wait for normal delivery or choose c sec at 39 weeks? I find it very difficult to exercise now and have huge discomfort in the pelvic region while sleeping and waking up from bed. Also cannot wali much, Baby's head is still floating and the weight of baby at 36 weeks screening showed (3kg 200gm +- 400gm )

It is better to get the Caesarean operation done now. The baby's weight and maturity of pregnancy are very good. In liver problems at times there may be a sudden death of the baby in the uterus without any preceding symptoms. So you get the Caesarean any day now.

Hello maam Considering your age of gestation and your comrbidity along with severe discomfort it is right time to terminate pregnancy. If your biomedical parameters are normal you can go for normal delivery but doctor need to assess your pelvis by per vaginal examination that will be more beneficial. For safe confinement you may go for elective procedure but first consult obstetricians For examination
