Hello You had c section 4 years ago, and few other details like, why was the v section done?, emergency or planned? At 9 months section was done or preterm section? Kind of incision done over the uterus?, any intraoperative complications happened? So many other things are needed to be known to a gynecologist to decide on ur next mode of delivery
Next Steps
your doctor will certainly guide you throughout the process
Health Tips
risk and benefit should always be weighed and then decided, so always weigh it and take a decision after discussing with your doctor ultimately both mother and baby should be fine

It is possible, but depends on certain factors like whether the previous caesarean was elective or emergency, reason for section, in the current pregnancy weight of the baby, placental location, position of baby, any other comorbidities
Next Steps
Consult your obstetrician

Yes it’s perfectly possible but we need to know a few more things, like what type of scar was given, what’s the current weight and liquor of the baby. What was the reason for previous LSCS and a vaginal examination.

In vaginal birth after cesarean section chances of scar rapture are high So it is better go for an elective Cesarean section anytime after 38 completed weeks

Trying for a normal delivery after a C-section is a decision made after a lot of deliberation that your doctor takes after reviewing your case .. including your present condition as well past history . It is a process associated with substantial risks , sometimes even with life- threatening complications for you and your baby . Thus several factors have to be taken into careful consideration including the hospital's capacity to deal with any of these dangerous emergency compliance, availability of blood bank ,etc . Even in ideal conditions, even a case that seems suitable for normal delivery can suddenly run into complications or situation can deteriorate rapidly which may end up in an emergency C-section in the least, or even a life- saving hysterectomy in dire situation . So please trust your doctor and go for a C-section if they have recommended that for you Remember the risk is never just on your doctor , but on you and your baby as well , so choose wisely.
