Delivery concern
Hello, Currently 36 weeks 5 days. USG at 35weeks 4days: fetal weight 2.5kg, Doppler normal, AFI 13cm, head down. Please advise - Can I go for a planned C-section at 38weeks 4days or wait till 39 weeks? Also, any chance of preterm labour/water breaking before that? Thank you

Yes. You can go for the planned Caesarean at 38 weeks. Anything can happen to anyone at any time. So you can also have preterm labour or water break anytime. But it will not be a disaster. It will only mean that you should have an immediate Caesarean.
