For her agr her weight is certainly less ,although height of 78 CMS is appropriate for age . So this needs a evaluation  . If she does not or hasn't suffered from recurrent infections ,has no prolonged fever ,not much to worry . Hope all her milestones are normal for age . We need to give certain nutritional supplements containing micronutrients . U can start her on syr A to Z  2.5 ml twice daily  for a month Give her everything  like sprouts pulses ,eggs ,all fruits in diet .make the meal complex with 3 to 4 things together . Let's see . U may consult if anything.

Weight gain is necessary but looking chubby is not good for health. If child is active and alert then nothing to worry about. Give energy dense diversified food items containing balanced fat, carbohydrates and proteins.

Since your child was IUGR you can not compare her with other normal birth weight children. She will be smaller than others. Since her milestones are normal and since her activities are normal I think you should not worry but keep a watch on her weight

Hello, weight gain ideally should be tracked over  a period of time, so if you have couple of previous values, it will help. Considering the low birth weight and if present development milestone achievement is normal, present weight might not be low. I presume you are giving supplements like calcium, iron and multivitamins.
Next Steps
consult with all mentioned details for further help

Hi, there is no need to worry about your baby's growth. Compared to the birth weight, your baby is doing good as of now concerned with the present weight and height. Baby should catch up weight gradually over a period of another 1 or 2 years.

As you have said that baby was a low birth weight baby . These babies gain there weight slowly and become equal to a good weight baby by age of 4 years.
Next Steps
Height of baby is really good for age.Rapidly increasing her weight by over feeding will put pressure on her heart and liver. So don’t do that.
Health Tips
Keep giving baby her meals .Dont overfeed as the child will develop dislike for her mealtime.

Your baby’s height & weight both are on lower than expected percentile . Baby surely needs evaluation and if necessary investigations . Do you have any family history of Coeliac disease ,? Well lot of other questions too , kindly book appointment for detailed workup .
