Nipt test report normal or not
Hi doctor, I had high risk for trisomy 21 in double marker test, 1:62. which was done at10 weeks. I had repeated double marker at 13 weeks which is intermediate risk of 1: 303. I had gone for NIPT. Please find the attached NIPT test reports. Can you please tell me if it's normal? It shows chromosome 21 z score value as 1.07 while the highest cut off for it is 2.8. I am a little worried if it's fine or should I go for any further invasive test such as amniocentesis. But I don't want to go for invasive test since it has a risk of miscarriage. Also, how accurate is this test? If it's normal, can I be assured that the baby doesn't have down syndrome?

Mam it's low risk so don't worry. It's still a screening test with accuracy of almost 98 to 99%. Dual marker is normally done between 11 to 13 wks 06 day POG. I don't understand why was double marker done at 10 wks.
