Hello Sir,
Both Nexito (for anxiety/depression) and Pregabalin (for nerve pain) can sometimes be prescribed together, but they may increase drowsiness or dizziness. Since you are already on Nexito, it’s important to inform your orthopedic doctor so the treatment can be adjusted safely.
For free consultation, save my number and you can contact me on WhatsApp at nine one one nine two five five six nine nine.
Can be taken together preferably in night only. Strictly avoid driving. Better if You can stop nexito & continue with pregabanyl mtm only. If tou are facing sleeping issues then reach out for further assistance.
Good afternoon!
In my opinion, you should not take both together.
In order to give you a better response and advise on this, I need to know prior history, for that you can connect for consultation.
Escitalopram(Nexito is Brand Name) is an SSRI antidepressant, often prescribed for anxiety and depression.
Pregabalin (with Methylcobalamin) is commonly used for neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and sometimes adjunctively in anxiety disorders.
There is no major drug interaction between escitalopram and pregabalin, but both can cause sedation and caution is advised, especially when starting or changing doses.
Next Steps
Inform the orthopaedic and all treating doctors about all medications being taken, including Nexito 10.
Monitor for increased sedation, dizziness, or any new or concerning symptoms; avoid activities requiring alertness if feeling drowsy.
If there are any side effects or concerns, seek medical advice for possible dose adjustments or monitoring
Health Tips
Do not discontinue either medication abruptly without medical advice, as withdrawal or rebound symptoms may occur.
Do not consume alcohol while on these medicines, as it can increase the risk of central nervous system side effects.
Always maintain an updated list of all medications to share with each healthcare provider.
If there are any doubts regarding this combination or the reasons for these medications, consult a medical professional for clarification and further advice.
