I have had acne/ pimple breakouts since I was a teenager. I kept it under control for the last 2 years. I used non comedogenic products and Sebugel ( niacinamide and salicylic acid gel ). I reduced my sebugel application from twice a day to once a day. But I have been getting acne breakouts on and off during the past 5 months. I have textured skin , marks although not too extreme but noticeable.
I was wondering whether it would be okay for me to start using adapelene 0.1% ?
My routine would look like this
AM
Dermatouch salicylic acid mild cleanser
Hydrodistilled rose water
Dot and key barrier repair moisturizer with rice water and hyaluronic acid
Dermatouch Matte sunscreen
PM
Simple refreshing cleanser
Adapalene 0.1%
Dot and key barrier repair moisturizer
I would like to know if the skincare routine is not harmful? Can I use adapelene 0.1% like this ?
