Recently I diagnosed inactive tb,
Mx positive in the month of june
Gold qft test
Ifn level - 92 pg/ml
Started taking treatment
After completion of three months
Again re test
Then result came ifn level 206 pg/ml
After completion of 3 months, the value not reduced it has been increased only. May I know the reason
Tb occurrence is one of the parathyriod symptoms???
Is it normal or abnormal
I'm taking combutonal , isocaldin n benadon tablet for past three months.
Need your suggestion .
In childhood I got tb n I took treatment for more than 1 year and course has been completed in childhood.
Recently I diagnosed hyper parathyriod.

Mantoues test, and gold test are not specific tests.They only tells us that pt is having infection.ie we are exposed to tb bacteria. Does not indicate that we have disease. Even after complete treatment, the results may be same.pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
