How TB is diagnosed after Rifampin cours
I was diagnosed with latent TB with clear chest xray. My blood result showed positive TB. I'm about to start my TB meds with Rifampin for 4 months. How do I know if Rifampin has worked after 4 month? I learn that the blood test would still show positive for TB despite the treatment.

Blood test for tb diagnosis like quantiferon gold is banned in India and guidelines say treatment shouldn’t be started based on blood test.since ur xray was clear u can wait

we generally donot advice starting att ivo blood test unless you are severely immunocompromised..kindly consult before starting
