Test for diagnosing active or latent tb
Hi Doctors I have done TB gold test which is POSITIVE but SPUTUM for AFB & TB CBNAAT are negative. I don't have any cough. But my abdominal CT shows lymph nodes in right illiac fossa and my gastro doctor was not able to find the lymph nodes while colonoscopy. So, which test evaluate whether the tb is active or latent? And how will I get to know that which type of tb it is? Does FDG WHOLE BODY PET CT confirms active or latent tb? Please guide as I am NOT able to understand. Thanks

TB diagnosis and treatment is complex. A layman cannot diagnose TB on the basis of just some test. Please consult a pulmonologist online or offline for proper evaluation and guidance
