Need suggestion
My daughter is 31 years old. She went for a check-up as she has PCOD and along with LH and FSH,she has also got her prolactin levels checked. It is 34 and from then she is very much tensed, doc has asked her to get MRI of pituitary,  LH - 17.6, FSH - 6.1.,TSH-2.4 Is MRI needed? We follow homeo all the time for her she used to get allergies or gastric with allopathic medicine. Her periods were regular as we are using homeopathy.

MRI will give the exact size of the Pituitary gland. That will determine whether she needs only medical treatment or some surgery may be required. It will also be a baseline size of the Pituitary gland and we can see after treatment whether the size of Pituitary gland is static or it is increasing.

Prolactin is not that high..MRI is not needed right now. As far as PCOD is concerned, there is hormonal imbalance in rest of the test. Read my article to know in details. Regular exercise and diet is a must for PCOD apart from medicines https://gynaetalks.com/what-is-pcos-pcod-symptoms/
