Need Medical Advice
I am a 34-year-old woman. I had anxiety attacks a few months ago but now I’m mostly fine and not on any medication. My vitamin D3 level was less than 5 (I’m taking supplements now). Thyroid, other blood tests, and CT brain are normal. However, I still feel a cold sensation only in my head whenever I listen to music or think of emotional thoughts. I also feel fatigued, mentally tired, and sometimes forget simple words while talking.though I can remember them later. I spend most of my time indoors and often use my mobile phone and laptop for long periods. I don’t have this feeling at other times. Is it related to anxiety recovery or vitamin D deficiency? Is any treatment or lifestyle change needed?

This looks like a part of your anxiety recovery ,your body is still a bit sensitive, so when you feel emotional or listen to music, your brain reacts and you feel that cold sensation. vitamin D deficiency can lead to fatigue, brain fog, and low mood. Continue supplements, get sunlight daily, and reduce screen time If it persist consult psychiatrist

Hi the cold sensation in the head linked to emotional or sensory triggers, along with fatigue and occasional word-finding difficulty could be the lingering effects of both anxiety recovery and vitamin D deficiency. During anxiety or post-anxiety recovery, the nervous system often stays in a mildly hypervigilant state. Emotional cues, music, or deep thoughts can activate subtle bodily sensations what we call residual somatic anxiety. This can cause temperature-like sensations, tingling, or odd body awareness even without visible symptoms. At the same time, a vitamin D3 level below 5 is severely deficient and can significantly affect mood, cognitive clarity, and fatigue. Even with supplementation, it takes 8–12 weeks for levels to normalize and the brain to regain full energy and focus. Spending too much time indoors and on screens adds to this fatigue and mental dullness. Recovery will be smoother if you reintroduce sunlight exposure (15–20 minutes daily), light exercise, structured breaks from screens, and calming practices like breathing or grounding. If symptoms persist beyond 2 months despite these changes, consider a neurological review to rule out post-anxiety fatigue or mild cognitive slowness. Take therapy. Continue vitamin D supplementation, maintain a balanced diet, sunlight exposure, regular exercise, and limit gadget use. Relaxation practices like yoga or mindfulness can also help.
Health Tips
If tiredness or forgetfulness persists, a psychiatric review for residual anxiety or mild depression can be useful — these symptoms are often reversible with lifestyle correction and support

Symptoms of fatigue, loss of memory and inability to find enjoyment in previously enjoyable activities in this context may suggest the presence of a depressive disorder, especially since it tends to accompany anxiety disorders very frequently. Often depression does not present with classical sadness, and you may find yourself having more of pain symptoms. Depending on the severity, there are a lot of treatment options available, including medicines and lifestyle changes. The good news is that these issues generally respond well to treatment.
Next Steps
You may want to consult a psychiatrist online or in person for a detailed evaluation and to form a personalised management plan. I am sure it will help you.

Hi I can understand how bothering it can be for u feeling tired both physically and mentally. Good to know that you are on correction for vitamin d deficiency. Please do check whether you are having enough sleep (7-8) hrs and also regular exercise (30mins preferably outdoor bcz helps with vitamin d )which are essential for both rejuvenation of body and mind. Going out once in while with family and friends and practising hobbies are also very important for overall well-being. If still these symptoms are bothering do consult nearest doctor
