Need an advice
I have one problem I always over think. And unnecessary thoughts and unwanted thought came in my mind. This problem is effect my daily life! I always do same things repeatedly because when I do something that time if i have any unnecessary thoughts then i can't finish the work and start the work again. So why is this problem. Infact I can't sleep due to this problem. This problem having from many years ago.

I can understand how distressing this problem maybe for you and that overthinking is taking a toll on your life and it’s a cycle that you want to finish once and for all. Was thinking usually suggest that there is something going on in your mind, a problem that your brain is trying to solve but is not able to. Through therapy and counselling will be able to understand what’s going on and resolve the issues that arise

Giving any activity or chore it’s due attention and effort is important for its successful completion. While you end up overthinking, I urge you step back see if your overestimating the activity and somewhere even underestimating urself in it. Overthinking is an outcome of worry or fear about past or future.  May be worrying about some past bad memories or relationship or family matter .or May be having fear about some health issues or financial issues etc. So it's important to understand your background,  bothering issues,  other physical and mental symptoms to recommend suitable solutions.  General advices or suggestions will not be effective here. Be positive.  It's an addressable issue if are willing to make few changes in your mindset, lifestyle, food habbit, daily routines and follow certain therapies.  Without making any changes you can't expect results.  Are you willing to make these changes?. Hi .. overthinking going on for a long period may turn into anxiety. You may want to reach out to a psychologist to share about your life and what lead to this. Once they understand, they will help you practice certain mind management techniques. It will help in de cluttering in a phased manner. Please be patient and kind to your self
