1. Cervical Spine (Neck) Issues
Your neck stiffness, dizziness, and crackling sounds suggest:
• Cervical spondylosis or disc degeneration
• Can cause nerve compression → dizziness, neck pain, radiating ear/head heaviness
2. ENT-related
• Eustachian tube dysfunction or inner ear imbalance (vestibular causes)
• Can lead to a hollow or echoing sound when tapping the head, ear fullness, dizziness
Advise:
Investigations
• Cervical spine X-ray or MRI
• Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D levels
• ENT evaluation (to check middle ear / inner ear)
• Blood pressure check (giddiness could be BP-related)
1. Apply hot fermentation to neck and back
2. Start neck mobility and posture correction exercises (under guidance)
3. Stay hydrated and avoid sudden head movements
It is highly recommended that you visit an ENT physically to get a better evaluation.
It may be due to many reasons such as cervical spondylitis, musculoskeletal stiffness or may be high BP and many other. Kindly consult with me on 94 two six eight six 78 nine six.
From your description my first diagnosis will be a middle ear infection which is also spreading towards the brain to cause meningitis.
But such a fanciful diagnosis is not made by Tele-consultation. I suggest you should consult a General Physician in your area and if need be you may have to consult an ENT Specialist also.
