Electric like sensation in neck
Hello doctor I'm feeling a weird electric like sensation and pressure in my neck and lower back of head what could be the cause also I have anxiety from last 3 months is this anxiety related ?pls help me out..

It can be due to a number of reasons. It can be anxiety related but unlikely. What you're experiencing is known as paraesthesia. It is most likely due to spasm of neck muscles. It is actually very common these days due to work from home. At home most of us don't have a comfortable place to work, end up straining neck.
Next Steps
I would like to know about ur history more but prima facie looks like ne k muscle spasm. Stretching exercises for neck with a physiotherapist should help.

Electric shock like sensation occurs when the nerves are compressed. It’s most likely to be due to IVDP. However it can also be due to spinal cord demyelination called as lhermites phenomenon. Needs more revaluation
