Frequent pain around Neck, Shoulder and upper back muscles. Sitting front of computer for few hrs starts this pain very often. How to reduce pain. Any medicine to prevent this happening.

Neck Exercises. Neck Stretching. Postural Correction. Shoulder Shrugs. Take frequent Breaks at work. Core Strengthening Exercises. Use cervical pillow. Use Back Support. Self Massage the back of neck.

If this pain is starting after sitting in front of computer, this is most likely due to incorrect posture. It is important to sit in a proper chair, maintain a good posture, take regular breaks and get up and walk often. Also have a look at your desk and see if any changes can be made to help you with it. Do regular stretching to help ease the stress in the muscles. Medicine is not something that will help you, as the problem itself needs to be avoided.
