Coming to Ur tooth colour shade. U have to visit nearest dentist to know weather it's natural are due to any deposits over the teeth. Deposits over the teeth can be treated by tooth cleaning but naturally formed discoloration requires other treatments which will be surely explained to you by the dentist so

Yellowish teeth is due deposits(plaque and calculus), stains(coffee, tea, pan, smoking stains).... Flurosis...Natural Colour of the inside tooth structure..(Dentine)
Clinical examination is necessary to rule out the cause and according to that treatment has to be planned......
Scaling and whitening procedure is not a harmful one....
It is mandatory to do scaling for every 6 momths
