Your concern about the change in urine color is valid. Pinkish to dark orange urine could have various causes. Some possibilities include: 1. Medication side effects: Ovaral L (a combined oral contraceptive) can sometimes cause changes in urine color, though it's rare. Other causes could include dietary factors, such as foods like beets or certain vitamins/supplements. 2. Urinary tract issues: Blood in the urine (hematuria) can cause a pinkish hue. This could indicate a UTI, kidney stones, or other renal issues, which may require further evaluation. 3. Dehydration: Though you mentioned not being dehydrated, even slight dehydration can cause darker urine. Ensuring adequate hydration is crucial. For a more detailed evaluation, it would be best to consult me directly for proper investigations (urinalysis, ultrasound, etc.). You can also message me on eight zero zero nine eight two one double three two for better guidance and treatment. Next Steps: Drink plenty of water. Monitor the color for the next 24-48 hours. If the color persists or is accompanied by other symptoms (pain, fever), seek medical consultation promptly. Hope this helps.
