My temple hair are turning out gray at a very fast pace recently. Although I can't be sure if it is 100% hereditry, but my father side family has a history of early greys. I know it is not possible to turn back if the cause is in genes, but is there any possible diet or vitamins that can reduce the pace of gray hair. Can there be any particular items I should include in my diet to curb this.

Hi, Please understand that genetics play only 30-40% role in lifestyle diseases. Improve your lifestyle by having a well balanced diet and physical activity with 7-8 hours of sound sleep. Have deep coloured fruits and vegetables like carrot,Beetroot,Leafy vegetables. Fruits like Amla which are very rich in vitamin C. Also Watermelon,Mango,Papaya,Kiwi,Pomogranate etc can be included. Relaxation technique like Yoga or meditation will help.
A proper balanced diet and stress free lifestyle practices can contribute to lessening the greying. In addition, an opinion from a Dermatologist regarding the probable cause of greying is needed. Please get in touch so that all these factors can be discussed and a solution can be provided.
