Based on the values you've shared (fasting blood sugar 64 mg/dL and post-meal 83 mg/dL), your blood sugar is currently on the lower side. Since you're taking Glycomet (metformin) and your HbA1c is 5.4%, your diabetes appears to be well controlled. However, low blood sugar can sometimes make you feel weak or unwell. Liver disease itself can also contribute to fatigue and loss of appetite. I would advise you to: - Eat small, frequent meals and avoid skipping meals. - Check your blood sugar whenever you feel symptoms like sweating, shakiness, dizziness, or weakness. - Continue your liver medications as prescribed. - Consult your treating physician before making any changes to your diabetes medication, as the dose may need to be reviewed if your sugars continue to stay low. If you have persistent weakness, vomiting, confusion, yellowing of the eyes, black stools, or severe abdominal pain, please seek medical attention immediately. Take care, and I wish you a speedy recovery.
