  4. Blood sugar post covid. In medication?

Blood sugar post covid
Pre covid Hba1c - 6.5 , FBS 112 Post covid Hba1c - 6.9 Started Metformin 500mg twice. After taking Metformin for 6 days, the FBS checked on glucometer is 106. Note- she was on steroids treatment during covid. Stopped taking steroids on 5th May. How long will the sugar levels be elevated after stopping steroid and does she need some change in medication ?

HbA1c is in diabetes range.she is diabetic. Need medicines and lifestyle changes. HbA1c has to be checked once in 3 months. Monitoring of sugars regularly is required. Modify dietary habits. Continue same medicines
