Unexpected weight loss and low energy levels can be concerning, especially with a diabetes diagnosis. In diabetes, the body may struggle to use glucose efficiently, leading to weight loss and fatigue as energy levels drop. It’s essential to have a balanced, nutrient-rich diet that stabilizes blood sugar while supporting weight and energy. Consulting an expert like Dietitian Souvik Chakraborty can help you design a meal plan tailored to your needs. His expertise in clinical nutrition ensures a well-rounded approach, addressing not only your diabetes management but also helping you regain healthy weight and vitality through a diet that works in harmony with your body.

Is your diabetes under control? That seems most probable. As in Diabetes, the sugar remains in the blood and doesn't reach your body for actual use if proper medications are not taken.
Next Steps
You need to Visit a Physician and get yourself checked for your blood sugar control.
Health Tips
Kindly follow advise as per your physician only and please don't stop Diabetes medications by your own.

You need to add little protein intake in the diet. Please consult your doctor to add some protein powder or add more through diet. People with diabetes can lose weight due to a number of factors, including: Reduced insulin production Insulin is a hormone that helps the body convert glucose into energy. When the body doesn't produce enough insulin or doesn't respond well to it, cells can't use glucose for energy. The body then starts burning fat and muscle for energy, which can lead to weight loss. Frequent urination High blood sugar levels can cause people with diabetes to urinate more frequently, which can lead to dehydration and weight loss. Muscle breakdown High blood sugar levels can also cause muscle breakdown, which can lead to unhealthy weight loss.

Hello hope you are doing good, it is mostly due to the muscle breakdown, so you need to have enough protein to maintain your muscle weight, along with that have a balanced meal including fibre and complex carbs, so that blood sugar does not raise.
