I am 39 yr and wt 77kg as of today. I am trying to be muscular since many years. I reduce weight with diet and exercise and usually range between 75 to 80 kg. In so many years I am unable to see any remarcable change in muscularity. I feel like its only fat which increases and decreases 80-90% and muscle is just 10%. I am on calory deficit around 1500-1600 per day with 70-80 gm protin Fish Oil Multivitamin I have a sitting job and no physical activity (walking standing etc) aprat from daily exercise I accumulate fat around my lower abdomen and chest and back. I do 10 min HIIT 20-25 min trademill walking and 30-45 min weight training 6 days a week My goal is to be between 70- 75 kg and muscular. Need guidance which  can help here.

Hello.... Yeah, when u be on calorie deficit diet, initially u only loose  fat just deposited on upper adipose tissue but to burn stubborn fat, u need to workout much more in terms of diet and physical activity. Alone calorie reduction is not suggested as it involves all other parameters to consider. Need detailed information of your diet and medical history to guide you properly. To build muscle, intake of all other nutrients along with protien is needed. Type of protein and how much it's absorbing to the body, any anti nutritional factors that affecting the absorption of the nutrients, basal metabolic rate, medical history, drug interactions and type of exercises  etc., All these are essential to plan a diet. Greetings for the day!!       Calorie restriction is just 1 part of the whole regimen. There are different factors that are to be considered while planning for diet. We need to include more negative calorie foods to move the stubborn weight and build muscle. Because you always concentrate on weight loss .In weight loss you loose muscles with your fat and water. Focus on fat loss with right diet and exercise . With pre and post workout diet

Yu need to change your workout according to your body requirement.you need diet rich in complex carbohydrates, proteins and fibres. To plan a,diet I need to take a detailed diet history to know your body type.
