Multivitamins
Can we take multivitamin tablets daily with out doctor advice and do we need any blood investigations before starting multivitamins.

B complex and C vitamin are water soluble vitamins. They don’t cause toxicity when ingested in excess. But vitamins A, D and E can cause hypervitaminosis. Better to avoid vitamin tablets without proper indication (requirement). Some pure B complex vitamin tablets are harmless on prolonged use and can be taken long term without supervision. They are useful especially for vegetarians
