Mucosal Thickenup In Middle Ear Cavity
Hello Doctor, I had cholesteatoma surgery 4 years back. My recent HRCT Temporal bone CT shows residual mucosal thickenup in middle ear cavity in the same ear. Rest everything mentioned normal. What does Mucosal thickening in middle ear cavity? Will cholesteatoma develop again? Please advise.

Cholesteatoma can develop again. But surgery depends on various factors. U can take a diffusion weighted MRI to confirm cholesteatoma before.surgery.
