As age increases one develops many nutritional deficiencies due decreased diet and digestive capacity. So to fasten healing you can start vit c (limcee) and bcomplex vitamin (nurobion forte). Also locally you can apply dologel or mucopain. If you are denture wearer get it checked for sharp edges also remove denture during night allow mucosz to relax a bit.
