Milk tooth embedded in gum
My nephew is 2 years old. She fell from stairs and X ray report shows that her two front teeth embedded half in gums only half are visible. What should we do now...Will permanent teeth push these outside or we have take them out right now. Please suggest.

Hello, being a Pediatric Dentist, i would like to tell you that if there is pain that means the nerves are exposed so it's better to get a Xray done in order to decide if the tooth should be root canal treated or extracted(if it is impinging the permanent tooth)..
Next Steps
you can consult me for prescription medicine and if you need to clarify anything from your side..

Hello …. If it is not troubling your child leave it as it is….. The roots of the baby tooth actually dissolve as the permanent tooth pushes on them, which is why the tooth eventually falls out painlessly if left alone. Pulling a tooth out prematurely causes pain and bleeding because the roots aren't fully dissolved, so nerves and blood vessels are still present under the gums Also it guides the permanent to come to its right position while erupting…
Next Steps
If there is no pain and discomfort leave it as it as….
