I went to dentist for gum pain on last tooth second molar. It hurts on back side and right side of that tooth. Like distal side. Tartar and calculus buildup on that tooth.
They said I need to get deep cleaning. And no issues on x-ray. The gum was swollen and been painful for 2 years now.
I had deep cleaning on the same side of the mouth because of the same reason. Tartar buildup on that tooth and did deep cleaning on it last Feb 2022.
What could be the reason for recurrent tartar calculus buildup and constant gum pain?
Do I need to extract this tooth? Gum swollen needa any treatment?
