Mild/ dull pain in stomach
I am experiencing mild/ dull stomach pain above my belly button, no loose motions but During night I feel bloated, the pain comes and goes, I am trying home remedies like ajwain water and ORS water, curd the the pain is still there, it gets wore after eating. I feel no hiccup or acidity. I am experiencing this since Friday. I have no other symptoms like nausea, fever or loss of appetite. I was experiencing similar to this in January also, so I got my LFT done which was normal and the doctor gave the Acotiamide extended tablet with pantomime tab that I took for 5 days, the pain vanished. I have attached the prescription of the doctor.

Restart medication: Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily before breakfast (empty stomach) for 5–7 days If bloating prominent → add Acotiamide before meals (as previously prescribed) Since it worked in January, recurrence suggests similar issue. 2️⃣ Diet Advice: Avoid: tea on empty stomach, spicy food, fried food, coffee Eat small frequent meals Avoid lying down immediately after eating No late-night heavy meals 3️⃣ Home Remedies That Actually Help: Warm water Jeera water (better than ajwain if acidity type) Avoid too much curd at night (can worsen

Pain abdomen always calls for a consultation with a General Physician or General Surgeon in your area for a physical examination. Symptomatic treatment can be tried only after the doctor has cleared that there is nothing serious which calls for hospitalisation.

You symptoms suggested that you are most probably having functional dyspepsia, which is stomach motility indigestion disorder in which stomach empties food slowly, gas builds up and causing pain and bloating. Also conditions like gastritis, acid related dyspepsia can cause this Since you are already had pan 40,acotiamide,sucralfate relieves your symptoms, a short course again may help you.
Next Steps
-Take those tablets again -Avoid eating, spicy fried foods -eat slowly, avoid immediate lying after food, take 10 mins walking after eating
Health Tips
If symptoms persists, contact me anytime on practo for further consultation

Dear Patient, Your symptoms are most suggestive of functional dyspepsia / gastric motility issue, especially since you improved earlier with Acotiamide + Pantoprazole. This does not look like a serious liver problem (LFT was normal). Why this happens: • Slow stomach emptying • Gas formation • Mild gastritis • Irregular eating pattern Advice • Eat small, frequent meals • Avoid spicy, oily, junk food • Avoid lying down immediately after eating • Continue curd (good for gut) • Avoid excessive ajwain if not helping Since you responded earlier to: Pantoprazole (before food) Acotiamide (before meals) You may need a short 5–7 day course again For proper medication dosing and long-term prevention plan, kindly text me for detailed guidance.

Mild pain above the belly button with bloating that gets worse after eating is commonly seen with gastritis, indigestion, or functional dyspepsia. Since your LFT was normal and symptoms improved earlier with Acotiamide and Pantoprazole, it may be a similar digestive issue again. For now try: • Small, light meals and avoid very spicy, oily, or heavy food • Avoid long gaps between meals • Continue good hydration If the pain persists for more than a few days, increases, or keeps recurring, it would be better to review with a doctor as you may need short-term medication or further evaluation. Based on your symptoms, proper clinical assessment may be required. You may book an online consultation with me for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment guidance.

This Pain is most likely due to Hyperacidity or a mild stomach ulcer, You should focus on your diet to reduce the recurrence (eat less spice and use less masala, fix the timings of the meal , no midnight cravings, drink enough water) For now I think Pantoprazole and Sulcralfate should work wonders taken under supervision and as guided
