My mother is suffering from migraine from last 14 years. She has tendency of over thinking minute things and making it very big. We are not sure if this is problem with her anxiety or she has real nuerological issue of migraine. She is taking NT Grain once in a day . Please let me know if we need to show her to neurologist or psychiatrist. Any doctor in and around Chennai who can deal with neurologist and psychiatry.

Hi
Chances are if she has habit of overthinking it's flaring the migraine
She needs to learn stress tolerance and stress management
Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling online or in person
It will ease her migraine also
All the best
Hi, your mother had been taking a medication which has been meant for Migraine and hope she has been on regular follow-up with a Neurologist for the same. If your worry about over thinking is something which she too shares and feels distressed then it's better she gets a consult with a Psychiatrist so as to try and find a way out of it.
Best Wishes...
