Middle finger is slightly swollen and pains on movement. What can be done? Does it need any heat /cold treatment or crepe bandage for support?

If the pain is due to some recent injury , icing will help, but if the pain is old and recurrent, hot compression will help, can you tell me how the pain started??

As you mentioned that you finger is swollen. Do the ice treatment and apply crape bandage . Avoid movement of finger at extreme range. Slight movement without pain can be done. Get your E- Ray done if swelling does not reduce. Thanks Dr. Neetu Rathi MPT ( Neuro),Gurgaon
