Metformin tablets for pcod
I have pcod problem with irregular prolonged periods, for this my doctor prescribed metformin tablets twice a day.is if safe to use them? Are there any known side effects?

Metformin 850 mg twice a day for 3 months is useful in PCOD
Get a check ultrasound done for uterus tubes and ovaries and endometrial thickness after 3 months
Metformin can cause low sugar so make sure you take it Immediately after meals or along with meals
