Metastatis stage
Mom treated with stage 2 breast cancer and after 2 year cancer recurrered as a metastatis so she is feeling bone pain and also pleural effusion is in right lung and recently she is diagnosed that there are spots near the joints in bone.
As this recurrence of cancer is this a mistake of doctor or patient? Now that doctor is telling me to do the same process chemotherapy and all. What should i do?

It is most probably mets,wud need a pet ct scan to see the disease spread.

Bone pain is their as u mentioned,so radiation along with bisphosphonates ,followed by chemo

Dear practo user, from CT scan report it seems to be a recurrence of disease. Few people can have recurrence of disease. No doctor can give assurance of cure at any stage of disease. She will need chemotherapy at this stage. She might need radiation treatment if she is having pain in back.
