Menstrual cycle problem
Hey, I need help understanding my menstrual cycle. I had my period on October 10th, which lasted for 4 days. Then, unexpectedly, I got my period again on October 23rd. I consulted a doctor, and she prescribed medication to stop the flow, mentioning that it was an anovulatory period. Now, I'm confused about when I can expect my next period. I have PCOD, and my periods are usually late, with a cycle of 35-40 days. To get an idea, I decided to take ovulation tests, but they consistently come back positive. Can anyone help me understand what could be my expected period date?

You had your normal period on 10-14 October.
Then you had bleeding on 23 October.
You didn't mention how many days the bleeding had lasted before you went to the Doctor. It could have been an ovulation bleed also.
You took medicine to stop the flow. You didn't mention the name of the medicine and for how many days you took the medicine . But it is already 25 days since you took the medicine.
A safe guess is that you will get your periods one month after the course of the medicine you took on 23 October. That means you should get your periods by 25 November.
But you have PCOS too. So the guess is likely to fail.

If your cycles are irregular and you have PCOS your next menstrual date can't be predicted. If your ovulation period is fixed your periods will come 14 days after your day of ovulation
