Meningococcal vaccine is recommended only to certain high risk group of children, during outbreaks & international travellers, Including students going for study abroad & travellers to Hajj & sub-sahara africa.
Menactra vaccine is given to children 2years and above
If your child is under one of the category mentioned above can be given.
