Hi,
My daughter has been vaccinated with 1 dose of meningococcal vaccine at the age of 1 year..The doctor did not tell me that there are 2 doses ,one at 9 months and 2nd at 1 year. When shall I get her vaccinated for the second dose now.
The doc told me that 2 doses of meningococcal are given in areas where this disease is more prevelant.
What shall I do.
Please help.

No need to worry , go for vaccination Single dose enough it works like booster .As immunity develops after 2 yrs no need of booster.Go with other vaccines.

Take the second dose now. Protection will be good. It's important to take the second dose. Delay is acceptable. Meningococcal disease is a very serious disease. If you can pay for the vaccine, don't miss it
