Yes, this is a commonly prescribed combination and is safe to take in the same day. Cyra D or Nexpro RD 40 (PPI + Domperidone) is taken on an empty stomach in the morning to reduce acid, while Medigas (simethicone) is taken after meals to relieve gas and bloating â they don't interact with each other. Just make sure you're not doubling up on Cyra D and Nexpro RD at the same time, as both are essentially the same type of medication. Stick to whichever one your doctor has prescribed.
