Medicines enough to treat block in heart
My father underwent 2d echo and treadmill test recently
2d echo is normal and TMT stress test is positive..Doctors suggesting Coronary angiogram test.
Incase if Coronary angiogram detects the blockages..
1) is it possible to treat blocks through medications only instead of any angioplasty or Stent?
2) can we solve the block through medicines without any Stents?
Please clarify sir/madam

Yes, medications help to reduce the blockage but the effectiveness is uncertain and also varies from person to person. Plus, He's already undergoing Angiogram, so it would be easy to put stent in the same setting.
Medications without angioplasty are associated with chances of reblockage in future, as compared to after Angioplasty
