It's commendable that you're seeking help for this. Long-term use of clonazepam, a benzodiazepine, can lead to physical dependence, which explains the withdrawal symptoms when trying to reduce or stop it.
Next Steps
Please do not stop clonazepam suddenly, as it can cause serious withdrawal symptoms.
Work closely with your psychiatrist to develop a slow tapering plan, sometimes over weeks to months, possibly replacing it with a longer-acting agent temporarily.
Simultaneously, consider non-pharmacological treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, which can build long-term resilience.
Health Tips
1. Avoid self-tapering or skipping doses- this can worsen symptoms.
2. Lifestyle measures like sleep hygiene, physical activity, and mindfulness techniques can ease anxiety during the tapering process.
3. Dvenlor (venlafaxine) can also have discontinuation symptoms if stopped abruptly-your taper plan should account for both medications if needed.

According to the information provided, you took treatment for anxiety and got relieved with Desvenlafaxine 50mg+ Clonazepam 0.25mg. However, reducing the dose leads to anxiety symptoms again because of the discontinuation of medication. The approach for this is to first gradually stop Clonazepam along with relaxation exercises and lifestyle changes. Then, if you are not confident, take CBT for anxiety and then taper and stop the Desvenlafaxine tablet.

Follow relaxation techniques like deep breathing, yoga, and mindfulness
I can understand your concern. Your symptoms are controlled on this doze of the two medications that are also called minimum effective dose as symptoms you feel again on reducing or stopping these medications.First of all you have to practise deep breathing relaxation exercises meditation or yoga along with these medications. You should discuss with your treating doctor regarding relaxation exercise ( DBR, JPMR), sleep hygiene. One another point is that dose of medication are least, so don't bother, most of the people in today's time are taking medication for DM, HTN, etc that are life long to maintain their parameters in normal range.
Next Steps
You should plan a visit with your doctor
Health Tips
along with medication follow the advise as mentioned above.
Its better if you mentioned what withdrawal symptoms are you experiencing exactly. Mostly it is not as difficult to wean off medicines. But if you’re experiencing any sort of withdrawal then we might need to continue the medicine for some more time. In any case the decision should be made after detailed history only. Kindly consult or take a 2nd opinion to be sure and only then go ahead with either stopping or continuing the medicine.
