Hi thank you for asking this. Etizola is a benzodiazepine effective in controlling anxiety. It can be prescribed for short term i.e 3-4 weeks. Avoid alcohol with this tablet. You need to learn psychological techniques over couple of weeks e.g relaxation, meditation and mindfulness/ breathing techniques so that you will be able to control anxiety and stop this tablet. Long term use of etizola leads to dependence. Propranolol is a commonly used medicine for the management of physical symptoms of anxiety e.g pounding heart, tight chest, sweating etc. If you don't suffer from asthma or heart problems it is safe to take
Next Steps
continue treatment, learn relaxation techniques and meditation. you can watch you tube clips on Jacobson progressive muscle relaxation techniques.
Health Tips
avoid smoking and drinking alcohol. regular walking and focus on physical fitness.
