Hello, doctors! I've been taking 0.25 mg of etizam for the past 14 months. I decided to discontinue etizam since I don't want to become accustomed to it. I'm not sleeping well while attempting to taper it off. I sleep for about 4 to 5 hours and when I get up I don't feel refreshed. Please guide me how to leave Etizam.

Etizolam is a benzodiazepine and should not have been taken for so long. You need to consult a psychiatrist and get evaluated for your insomnia and anxiety and get treated accordingly. Good luck

Hello
First of all my advice, don't try to do it without a psychiatric consultation.
You still have symptoms for which you will be needed to put on some other medications which will help you through your transition of stopping etizolam.
Next Steps
You can get back to me or any other psychiatrist if you want to smoothen this transition.
Best of luck
