Post pregnancy anxiety, irritability or disturbed sleep is very common, also called post Partum Adjustment Disorder, due to hormonal changes and role transition in a female life *Ideally, no Medication is said to be taken during breast feeding * Still, when anxiety or disturbed sleep is severe to an extent, a mother is not able to cope up and bear responsibility to take care of the child and herself, for *emergency purpose, medications are prescribed as etizolam* It is short acting and you can maintain a time gap of few hours between feed and intake of medication

Hii. Etizolam is a very short acting medication. If you feel it is effective for your sleep and anxiety you can take it.. mostly it will be prescribed at night for sleep. As you are formula feeding your baby you can take medication at night no worries..

Whoever has prescribed that is a very irrational combination Strictly advised not to continue Neither etizolam is good in insomnia bcz it is a pure anxiolytic that too its effect last for a very short pd of time because of its significant short half life
