Medicine didn't suit
I'm taking otrivin from month and inbetween I took flutiways and fluticone for opening blocked nose. I'm experiencing mild hirsutism and menstruation this month lasted for only 1 day it generally last 3 to 4 days. Will these side effects reverse. Please suggest a safe way for opening blockage. Alternatively one side of nose gets blocked.

Prolonged use of otrivin is not recommended due to the rebound nasal congestionit causes.Steroid inhalers are indicated specifically for some conditions.As you have alternate nasal blockage,it could be allergy related.Try steam inhalation and saline nasal spray,oral antihistamine for few days.

You should use nasal drops when the problem is in the nose. Medicines taken by mouth cause more systemic side effects.

Use nasal saline.otrivin is not recommended for long term use.steroids can interfere with medication but you have not mentioned if you are taking these as inhalers or orally.
Inhalers will not affect mestruation
