Not a question for Tele-consultation. I don't know whether you took all these medicines as a part of self-medication or you consulted a Psychiatrist. It is never too late. Please consult a Psychiatrist in your area for a physical examination. He may recommend tapering of the dose schedule.

Take smaller dose for a week , then alternate days, then stop. You can take it  as and when needed. Consult a psychiatrist for counseling and further help.

this is not just anxiety related issue but a multitude of factors that lead to anxiety. You need a proper assessment and investigations. Just by taking Benzos will not treat the underlying issue. Please make an appoitment
Next Steps
Please make an appointment and also seek help from a psychologist/psychiatrist. Best wishes

1. Benzodiazepines like Lonazep can cause dependence when used long-term. 2. Tapering off must be gradual to avoid withdrawal symptoms such as rebound anxiety, insomnia, tremors, or even seizures in rare cases.
Next Steps
• Reduce the dose by 0.125 mg every 1–2 weeks. • Example: If currently taking 0.25 mg once daily: • Week 1–2: Take 0.125 mg daily, • Reduce the dose by 0.125 mg every 1–2 weeks. • Example: If currently taking 0.25 mg once daily: • Week 1–2: Take 0.125 mg daily • Week 3–4: 0.125 mg every other day • Then stop Taper more slowly if: • You’ve been on it long-term (months/years) • You experience significant withdrawal symptoms during the taper. Week 3–4: 0.125 mg every other day, Then stop!
Health Tips
Occasional SOS use (e.g., 0.25 mg for a panic attack) may be safe if advised by a psychiatrist!
