If he had completed the course for Mdr tb,as advised in national TB contol progamme, and the tests done,as recommended, and are neg,Tb is cured. But during the healing process, the lung is fibrosed,or other changes will happen in the lungs.some of which will go,after some time and others remain permanently.Hence may be cough.mere cough is not active Tb.pl consult a pulmonologist on line.
