Masturbation and sexual abstinence
Does there any physical and emotional benefit of masturbation and sexual abstinence.. Bcz I notice as I am a student my productivity becomes high when I don't ejaculate plus I can give my 100% in yoga , meditation or any sports I that I am able to play.. I think there are benefits... And I have followed abstinence many times but whenever I have relapsed.. My energy level go down plus my focus too, it takes 1- 2days to connect with that energy again... I think your life becomes awesome if u don't ejaculate voluntarily...please light on it... Thanx

To do or not to do... There are many myths particular to our subcontinent surrounding masturbation. The truth is that it is a natural phenomenon and quite normal for your age group, as long as you don't expend your energy to this task alone. Having a balanced lifestyle which includes exercise or yoga, productive and creative work which satisfies you in your routine, masturbation would not affect your "energy" levels in anyway. Rather than the act of masturbation it is the preoccupation with sexual thoughts that deviate you from being productive. If witholding your act makes you feel more productive then it's something that is working for you and I would not discourage it. Hope this helps.

Biologically masturbation does not have anything to do with energy levels.

✓ Sexual abstinence increases your Psychological control. It has benefits for our Psychological performance. ✓ Many famous people have used it to learn patience and restraint. It helps you learn a much needed Psychological trait. ✓ But complete abstinence is not necessary, but ability to exercise control over your desires trains your brain such that you stay in control of your brain.
