Maladaptive daydreaming
I am suffering from maladaptive daydreaming, i learned about this term after searching internet for at least 2 years. i am lost in my fantasies and it hinder my study and concentration. i fantasize more and more during listening to songs. i imagine everything with me that i was not able to get in my previous year like being a doctor, a successful student , owning a expansive car etc. it is much dominating since 5 years(after my class 10) it was not that much in childhood but yes i remember of daydreaming in my class 7 , right now i am a post graduate zoology student. i fantasize a lot mostly during songs and get emotional and talk to myself and i feel happy in my own world. when i searched for this maladaptive daydreaming term on internet i got shocking results that lacs of people are suffering like me. i need help .. they say to focus, meditate, exercise but its not that easy. its a very very busy college life... but in ideal time this daydreaming makes me trapped and i feel guilty.
